Going to the gym may not be an option for seniors or anyone in need of care. In this video, our rehabilitation therapists demonstrate five easy leg exercises that seniors can do at home with the help of a family caregiver and a steady surface for balance. The person in your care will learn these simple exercises to ensure that they’re getting the regular exercise they need to stay healthy and flexible:

  1. Simple squats
  2. Hip abduction
  3. Hip extension
  4. Heel raises
  5. Marching in place
