My name is Nancy. I'm 41 years old. I'm a businesswoman, a single mom, and I am the primary caregiver for my 68 year old mom. My Dad passed away in 1994, and I have a sibling, but they are not involved in Mom's care. Today, the Dr.'s advised that mom has moved into the advanced stages of Dementia, and we need to think about long term care placement. I have been providing care for my mom for the last 6 years. I have been her advocate, I have been keeping her safe, and I have kept my mom with us as long as possible. After all…she raised me, she helped me whenever she could. It's only right that I stand by her. I struggle every day with the self battle of doing right by my daughter, and my mom, making sure they are safe, happy & most of all loved.
